We love that the McKinney Farmers Market brings our community together! Our goal is to create a welcoming, enjoyable, and relaxing experience where guests can shop, visit with friends, discover local vendors, and simply enjoy their Saturday morning. Because the Farmers Market is a permitted event held on the private property of Chestnut Square, we do not allow solicitation within the market area.
This includes approaching guests, vendors, or staff to promote, sell, recruit for, distribute information about, or solicit support for a business, organization, service, cause, political activity, religious organization, or other outside interest unless specifically authorized by the McKinney Farmers Market or Chestnut Square.
We understand that businesses and organizations want to connect with our market community, and we welcome those opportunities through our McKinney Farmers Market Sponsorship Program.
Our sponsors and community partners are carefully reviewed and approved according to established sponsorship guidelines. This allows us to provide businesses with an appropriate way to introduce themselves to our shoppers while ensuring that their presence is consistent with the market's environment, our vendor community, and the experience we want to provide our guests. If you're interested in becoming a market sponsor or learning about other approved opportunities to participate, we'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
We appreciate everyone's help in keeping the McKinney Farmers Market a place where people can relax, shop, connect, and enjoy their Saturday morning without feeling pressured or interrupted.
Thank you for respecting our guests, vendors, and market community!
If you see someone soliciting within the market area, please do not approach or confront them. Simply notify a market staff member, and we will take care of it.
