How do I find out what else happens at Chestnut Square?
Can I bring my dog on the grounds?

Yes, we ask that you clean up after it, just as you would if you were on anyone else’s private property.

Can we (or our) photographer take pictures at the Chestnut Square?

As the grounds are open, outdoor photography is permitted. Please remember that these are historic structures, and furniture, artifacts or décor are for display only. Many of the items on our porches are not stable for use.

We also ask that you be respectful of private events, (we host approximately 100 weddings each year), fundraisers or dinners, and of the property itself.

Also note that the property is under surveillance for your safety and security.

Restrictions – PLEASE – No glitter, confetti, feathers, Silly String, Balloon releases or anything of that nature. we ask that you leave nothing behind, and take only fond memories of your time on our property.

We are a private, not for profit charitable organization. Donations help us preserve and maintain our historic village so that it is beautiful for you and our other visitors! Please consider leaving a donation, cash or check, in the locked box on our Visitors Center door. Or you can go online and find the Support Us tab. Contributions are appreciated!
