Welcoming our new Executive Director, DeAnna Stone

Heritage Village at Chestnut Square, the heart of historic preservation in McKinney, Texas, is excited to announce the appointment of DeAnna Stone as its new Executive Director. This announcement comes as Chestnut Square celebrates a significant milestone: 50 years of preserving the rich and diverse history of McKinney.

DeAnna Stone, with her passion for history and community involvement, steps into this role with a vision to continue the legacy established by her predecessors. “By taking time to reflect and cherish the past, we find a deeper appreciation for the present and embrace the possibilities of the future. I am honored to be part of the story of the Heritage Village at Chestnut Square and continue the legacy established by the Chestnut Square community,” said Stone. Her leadership is anticipated to bring innovative ideas and strategies to promote and enhance the village’s mission.
