Field trips are different at Chestnut Square. Our park-like setting is reserved for one school group ONLY when booked for tours. Your staff and chaperones are given a clear agenda to which to refer, as well as multiple docents to guide you. History comes to life for your students, as docents dressed in historical costumes portray actual people who helped shape life in Collin County from 1850 to 1930. Your group can bring sack lunches and picnic on our beautiful grounds. You’re also welcome to order food and have it delivered here to the grounds.
