Since 1973, The Heritage Guild of Collin County has hosted the Holiday Tour of Homes on the first weekend of December. The tradition of opening homes for a public tour began that year when our founders first opened their homes to raise money to purchase the Dulaney House and the Dulaney Cottage, and the grounds that eventually became Chestnut Square.
Each year, an elite group of homes and historic structures are decorated for Christmas and opened for the tour. The proceeds from ticket sales and an annual raffle are a major component to the ongoing operation of Chestnut Square
Teas at The Pantry Restaurant, and a visit to our Crafters’ Guild Holiday Bazaar at Chestnut Square will round out your visit! (Purchase tea tickets separately).
Tickets are good for one visit to each house. You may use your tickets over the course of both days if you wish. This is a charity, rain or shine event. Tickets are non-refundable.
