The Historic Downtown McKinney Farmers Market at Chestnut Square opens  

on April 25, 2009 and runs through October 31, 2009.   

Local  and organic meat, dairyand produce vendors will offer their wares

from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 P.M. every Saturday.

New this year, the market will offer sauces, baked goods and flowers! 

Cafe Malaga will provide breakfast and lunch offerings!

Dixie’s Store will be open with Dublin Dr. Pepper, Cokes, lemonade, craft items

and old fashioned toys for sale.

Come on down and enjoy an old time market…sometimes we’ll have special events and entertainment!  While not as diverse as the old Jockey Lot held in downtown McKinney during the mid 20th century, we’ll try to re-create the feel of the old market days. Meet friends, share local news and bring a chair and sit a while!
