What is Front Porch Friday?
Front Porch Friday is an opportunity for members of the community to come to Chestnut Square, join in a volunteer project and then enjoy dinner on the porch of the Dulaney House.
How does it work?
Each week we will meet at the the Dulaney House to get assignments. You can come to Chestnut Square anytime between 5:00 and 6:00 on Friday night, help out with some of the projects and then stay and enjoy a delicious dinner from 8:00 until...
What do I bring?
Just bring any refreshments that you may want to drink with your dinner. All tools for projects will be provided, but you can bring your favorite tools to use.
Why would I want to come?
Because you'll be doing something very worthwhile, will meet other people who enjoy helping out and get to know each other over a delicious meal that you don't have to cook.
What is there to eat?
Good stuff. Grilled chicken, roast lamb, barbequed hamburgers, fresh green salads with balsamic vinaigrette, roasted veggies, all kinds of good stuff, and of course a wonderful dessert!
What else do I need to know?
Children are welcome if they enjoy working with their parents. Sometimes there is music. If it's too hot, we eat inside.
